AU, Remote Sensing Applications Centre sign MoU

The Andhra University (AU) and Andhra Pradesh State Remote Sensing Applications Centre (APSRSAC) on Saturday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the presence of atomic energy commission chairman and Department of Atomic Energy Secretary, Anil Kakodkar.

Information and technology in agriculture and scope of large-scale investments in infrastructure, especially in irrigation, power, credit and research will be implemented using the satellite-based data, Geographical Information System (GIS)-based Data Analysis and the dissemination of these advisory services through Information Centre for Technology (ICT) which will help sustain the Indian Agricultural Sector.
