Integrated Mapping Services Shortens its Name to InMaps

Integrated Mapping Services Shortens its Name to InMaps New, Concise Name Reflects Company's Commitment to Business Efficiency.

Integrated Mapping Services, Inc., a geospatial consultancy for utilities, today announced that it is shortening its name to InMaps. The concise nature of its new name reflects the company's decade-long commitment to empowering natural gas and electric utilities to conduct business in the most efficient manner possible. Integrated Mapping Services, Inc. will now be operating under the trade name "InMaps".

"The focus of Integrated Mapping Services has always been on business efficiency. No one on our team believes in wasting time unnecessarily, which has resulted in our track record for delivering client projects on time and within budget," says Richard St. Pierre, President & CEO of InMaps. "It also meant that none of us were calling Integrated Mapping Services by its full name. Instead we were calling it InMaps. We felt it was time to make the name official."

In addition to changing its name, InMaps has a new logo and website - www.InMaps.com. The site highlights the company's ability to deliver geospatial business solutions that help utilities to meet the growing demands of shareholders and regulators by significantly improving accountability, profitability, safety, and efficiency. It also outlines InMaps’s areas of expertise including Gas Distribution, Electric T&D, Smallworld, Integration, GIS Support, Onsite Services, and Training in detail.

"The team at what is now InMaps has never let me down," says Stefan Latshaw, Project Leader for Information Services at UGI Utilities, Inc. "In fact, they always exceed my expectations by providing cutting edge solutions that meet my specific needs on time and within budget."
