GeoNorth gets a Geodatabase Contract

Through a competitive procurement process, The City of Tigard has selected and awarded a contract to GeoNorth to develop geodatabase models. Under the current contract, GeoNorth will develop 4 specific geodatabase models; a Storm Water Model, a Sanitary Sewer Model, a Transportation Model, and an Address Model. Part of this project will also involve assisting in developing migration and conversion plans for utility data that is currently maintained in AutoCAD and GIS.

Under a separate contract, GeoNorth recently completed a System Architecture and Application Design for the City of Tigard. The Design provides key information for implementing the appropriate GIS infrastructure necessary to support Enterprise GIS operations. It also provides a conceptual description of application functionality for meeting identified business requirements. Moving forward, the System Architecture and Application Design will continue to serve as a planning tool for the subsequent geodatabase design and application development activities.
