Luciad, the leading software provider for distributing and visualizing geospatial information, will be showcasing its latest developments in mission-critical GIS applications on booth #1 at the DGI Europe conference, being held January 21-24 in London.
DGI 2008 is Europe’s largest annual gathering bringing together Heads of Geospatial Intelligence, GIS, Remote Sensing, Operations, and Imagery and Analysis. The conference provides a unique forum to discuss and debate the development of geospatial intelligence capabilities across the globe.
At the conference, Luciad will show visitors interactive demos of UAV mission planning and 3D visualization through LuciadMap, its high-end GIS solution for mission-critical Command and Control. LuciadMap offers a real-time performance framework enabling consistent high update rates for operational displays. The product has the most advanced automated real-time label de-cluttering available on the market today.
LuciadMap also includes tools for high precision 3D visualization with on-the-fly “scene” rendering and new MIL-STD-2525B and App6a symbology rendering for maximum performance at any map scale. LuciadMap enables real-time overlay of geo-referenced video over vector, raster and terrain elevation data.
Next to state-of-the-art features, LuciadMap provides multi-touch interactive controls, thus supporting truly intuitive, collaborative displays. This capability includes multi-user planning displays.
“It is a great opportunity for Luciad to showcase our solutions at this premier event”, says Lode Missiaen, CEO of the company. “Our presence at DGI will allow us to attract a first-rate audience of key decision-makers. This will offer real opportunities and continued growth for Luciad as leading GIS vendor of mission-critical command and control applications.”
