Autodesk Recognizes Partner Microdesk's Unique Customer Service Role with Shooting Star Award

Nashua, NH Microdesk Regional Sales Coordinator, Kelly Smith, has been recognized by software and services giant Autodesk with a prestigious Shooting Star Award for her work as a Microdesk customer resource and liaison for Autodesk products and services.

The award, presented February 20 by Joseph Di Martino, Autodesk's Partner Manager/Northeast Americas Channel, is given to only a handful of Autodesk partner personnel and is awarded based on the recipient's "efforts above and beyond the call of duty."

"What makes this award especially gratifying is that it recognizes the efforts our employees make to provide both our clients and other Microdesk employees with the tools they need to operate efficiently and successfully using Autodesk products and services," stated Microdesk Principal and Partner Michael DeLacey.

Smith began working with Autodesk in 2000, moving to Microdesk in 2004. As Microdesk's regional sales coordinator, Smith plays a unique role, coordinating processes, training, and tools needed by Microdesk's clients to take full advantage of the features and benefits of Autodesk products, such as AutoCAD, a complex design application used by a wide range of Microdesk clients, including architectural and engineering firms. "As far as we know, no other company has a position specifically like Kelly's," added DeLacey.

"Her knowledge and experience enables Microdesk to quickly resolve higher level issues for our customers, saving them time and money."
