Spatial Dimension, with partners Swedish Geological and Tadaka, are pleased to announce that they have been awarded a World Bank financed project to implement a new Cadastre Data Management System within the Ethiopian Ministry of Mines and Energy.
Spatial Dimension’s FlexiCadastre integrated mineral rights management solution will be implemented centrally in the Ministry’s Mineral Operations Department in Addis Ababa with real-time connections to 11 Regional States Mine Bureaus. The initial project duration is 9 months followed by a 12 month maintenance period. Some 33 consultant months have been allocated to the project.
Mr Bill Feast, Managing Director of Spatial Dimension said, "It is a pleasure to welcome the Ethiopian Ministry of Mines and Energy as the latest government client to select the FlexiCadastre platform for the basis of their new computerised Mining Cadastre System. Since FlexiCadastre is rules based, has a complex security framework and is completely web enabled it provides the ideal system to enable the Ministry at both Federal and Regional levels. We look forward to partner with the Ministry to create yet another successful and sustainable FlexiCadastre implementation. ”
