Intelligent Dealer Locator 2008 from Maporama

Maporama Intl, location-centric services provider, announced the release of the 2008 Edition of its location centric tool of sales outlet: Maporama Intelligent Dealer locator, based on the new platform Maporama Web Services 2008 and Maporama Geocentric Services Framework (MGSF).

Based on the AJAX technology, the new interface introduces an optimised ergonomics, called Web 2.0. The interface has been developed using asynchronous management capabilities of each element that enables the partial loading of the page and the update of only one element. Dynamic, contents management now introduces multimedia tools according to the points of interest considered.

Maporama IDL 2008 integrates to its tool the “directions.mp3” function which enables the user to export mobility instructions of itinerary towards any kind of mp3 player, including the iPod. “export SMS” function, which is already available for addresses located in France, has been extended to Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Italy and Spain as well. “Itineraries” functionality has been improved providing interactive roadmap including customisation of information to display, such as step-by-step mobility instructions, mini maps of intersections and fixed radars location.

Maporama Intl extends its cartographic coverage with Maporama Intelligent Dealer Locator 2008 Edition. It includes cartographic data of many cities in Hungary, Russia, and Israel and now covers Albania, Turkey, Moldavia, Byelorussia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Slovenia, Malaysia and Japan.
