California, USA, 17 March 2007: People apply geographic information system (GIS) technology in many different ways, often limited only by their imagination. That’s why ESRI offers a broad range of training choices for the new ArcGIS 9.2 release, providing more than a dozen courses, seminars, and podcasts to suit a variety of job roles, project goals, and learning styles.
Training covers ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, and the geodatabase in formats that include instructor-led courses in traditional classroom settings, Web-based seminars, a workbook, downloadable podcasts, and online self-study classes. “With this major release of ArcGIS, we want to make sure our customers have access to the most comprehensive training program available,” said Nick Frunzi, director of ESRI Educational Services.
ArcGIS 9.2 contains new productivity tools, improved data visualization and analysis capabilities, sophisticated cartographic tools, high-precision coordinate storage, and expanded support for standards. ESRI training covers all these bases plus provides a strong foundation for people who work with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, and geodatabases.
