The Remote Sensing Lab (https://remotesensing-mcmaster.org/) at McMaster University, ON, Canada is seeking multiple postdoctoral fellows or research associates in remote sensing of primary productivity and greenness, forest carbon budget modelling, mapping forest carbon removal by disturbance, and explainable AI.
Salary ranges from $50000 to $80000 Canadian dollar per year depending on qualifications and experience. Experienced researchers are highly encouraged to apply as Research Associate.
The postdoctoral fellows will have opportunity to collaborate, including research visits, with Canadian Forest Service, WWF-Canada, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, McMaster Centre for Climate Change, and Canadian Centre for Climate Modelling and Analysis.
Candidates
must exhibit effective written and oral communication skills,
experience working in R/python or other computer languages, have
demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed papers, and have a Ph.D.
pending or awarded in relevant discipline. To apply, please send a
